Helen was born in Decatur County, Iowa. She had lived in the Farmer's Chapel Community before moving to Indianola in March of 1997. She was a homemaker, a member of Farmer's Chapel Church and served as president of the United Methodist Women. She also served as secretary of the Warren County Cancer Board, worked as a volunteer at the Veteran's Hospital in Knoxville and served as Gray Lady Chairman as well as volunteer services chairman.

She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Conner of Houston, TX and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Bull in 1983, and brother, Gerald Robbins.

Visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Farmer's Chapel Church.
