She was born October 19, 1922 in Fergus Falls, Mn. to Harry and Mary Ann Scofield. She was united in marriage to Phillip Witkofsky on Janurary 11, 1941 in Ball Club, Mn.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mercedes, Texas.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Phillip; daughters, Elaine (Delmont) Blume of Virginia, MN., Betty (Gary) Winther of Camdenton, Mo., and  Cleone (Wayne) Mocik of Hackettstown, N.J.; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cleone Wright of Hibbing, Mn., and Mary Ann (Vincent) Pearson of Carson City, Nv.; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She was preceeded in death by an infant son, Michael; her parents; and brothers, Levi, Harry, Arnold, Warren, Floyd, and Tommy Scofield.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25 with funeral services at 3:00 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
