Services for Harvey John Nicholson, 78, who died Saturday, December 17 at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines, will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indian Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services. He is survived by his son, Dan (Debbie) Nicholson of Indianola; daughter, Becky (Greg) Hayden of Mt Ayr; sisters, Linda Miller and Phyllis Curnes; brother, Jerry Nicholson; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Nicholson; sisters, Mildred Miller and Martha Crook. Memorials contributions may be given to the family in his name.
