Harold Jr., the son of Harold and Ruby Johnson, was born on August 29, 1958 in Des Moines, IA. He was raised in Indianola, Iowa, where he received his education and graduated in 1977. He worked at Dell Oil Co. before starting to work for Sternquist Construction.

Harold Jr. was married to Brenda Bloodgood and later divorced. They had one daughter, Christina Lea.

In 1984, he moved to Carrollton, Texas where he was employed building interstates and freeways. In August, 1985, Harold had a motorcycle accident and remained in a Dallas, TX Hospital in a coma until he was flown back to Des Moines. He lived at the Madrid Home before moving with his parents to Las Vegas where he remained until his death.

Harold Jr. enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting & outdoors.

He is survived by his daughter Christina (Tony) Bechtel; parents, Harold and Ruby Johnson; sisters, Sandra (Michael) Leslie and Susan (Michael) Bohall; nieces and nephews, Cody Leslie, Jeremy and Mark Bohall, Amanda (Nathan) Newenkirk and their children Cheyenne and Joey; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl in 1976.

Visitation will be held 5 – 8:00 p.m. Friday. April 7 at Oveton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m.
