Services for Harlan "Pat" Patterson who passed away at the age of 68 on March 3, 2016, will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 7 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial with military rites will be in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

He was a member of the Des Moines Woodworkers Association and was retired from Mid-State Distributing.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; mother, Evelyn Patterson of Stratford; brothers, Wayne (Barb) Patterson, Rodney (Diana) Patterson; and sister, Barbara (Kevin) Weldy. He was loved by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Loren and brother Roger.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 6 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials may be given in his name to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfunerals.com.
