A Potluck Gathering for Gregory "Greg" Allsup, 64, of Indianola, IA, who passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 in Des Moines, will be held Noon to 9 p.m., June 4, 2022 at Pickard Park.

Greg liked to golf, fish and loved woodworking. He worked as a plumber, carpenter and a jack of all trades. He liked to watch Nascar, golf and bull riding. He liked spending time at farmers markets with his wife so he could people watch and catch up with friends.

Greg is survived by his wife, Melody; daughters, Michelle (Mike) Colegrobe, Kelley (Wayne) Luft; step-sons, Richard (Tricia) Hommer, Randy Hommer, Robert Hommer; grandchildren, Lara Colegrobe, Andrew Jackson, Rachel and Jordan Hommer; siblings, Pricilla (Grant) Rankin, Bill Allsup, Jeff (Dee) Allsup; aunt, May Allsup; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Esther Allsup; brother, Dennis "Red" Allsup.

Memorials may be given in his name to the Kiya Koda Humane Society.
