Funeral services for Grace L. Gideon, 93, who died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, IA, will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Norwalk United Methodist Church of which she was a member.  Burial will follow in the Norwalk Cemetery.

Grace was born in rural Warren County and was united in marriage to Rolland Gideon on May 22, 1937.  They owned and operated Gideon Sales and Service for several years in Norwalk.  Grace moved to The Village in Indianola in August of 1998.

Surviving are her children Janice (Jerry) Cuffel of Marion, IA, Rollene (Richard) Brosh of Norwalk and Darrell (Karen) Gideon of Des Moines; seven grandchildren, Brian (Lan) Cuffel, Bruce (Brenda) Cuffel, Betsy (Richard) Cuffel-Marquez, Brad and Paul Gideon, Kathlene (Joe) Grubb and Kenneth (Jessica) Brosh; 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 4 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 5 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m.

Memorials may be given to the Norwalk United Methodist Church.
