GLEN SMITH Indianola Glen Smith, 86, of Indianola passed away Saturday, October 29 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center. He was born November 13, 1924 in Minnesota to Effie and Andrew Smith. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Liberty Center Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 1 at Overton Funeral Home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Glen is survived by his children, Shari Smith, Wanda (Ken Pfile) Smith, Wayne (Carolyn) Smith, Barbara (Jeff) Stagg, James (Terese) Smith, Edward Smith, and Kristin (Bill) Olson. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and sisters Freda Boucher and Meda Lamb. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette; son, Keith; parents; sisters, Gladys Chumbley and Catherine Ruth; and brother, Gerald Smith.
