Gerald Eugene Fight, 98, of Earlham, Iowa, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at UnityPoint Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Graveside services with Military honors will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 16 in the Derby Cemetery, Derby, IA.

Gerald is survived by his children, Jeff Fight, Jana (Bill) Krempasky; siblings, Larry (Erma) Fight, Roger (Kristi) Fight, Kathleen (John) Eft, Norma (Roger) Walston; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Gladys Fight; stepmother, Phyllis (Duey) Fight; aunts, Ruth Myers, and Carrie Luce.
