Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and farmer. Services for George "Dave" Patch, 75, who passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 10 at the First Baptist Church, Indianola, IA.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 prior to service.  Burial of cremains will be held at a later date.

Growing up Dave enjoyed 4H, FFA, football, and being student council president. Dave never met a stranger and loved to visit with new friends and friends and family. After high school Dave worked at Central Paving along with attending Iowa State University. Dave then began his career at John Deere and was a member of UAW 450. Dave enjoyed traveling with his wife and friends. Dave retired from John Deere after 31 ½ years.

Survivors include his wife, Marge Patch of Indianola; daughters, Malinda (Roger) Patch-Gray, Carol (Steve) Patch-Snyder; step-children, Brenda (Jessie) Anderson, Deanna (John) Smith, David (Cindy) Edgington; grandchildren, Alicia, Tristin, Gracie, Jennifer, Christa, Dennis, Caitlyn, and Amy; great-grandchildren, Nate, Samantha, Gabriel, Cassiel, Odin.

Memorials may be made to the family in his name for a contribution of their choosing at a later date.
