Services for George Kenneth Murrow,79 , who passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 16 at Center Chapel United Methodist Church in Indianola.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Cremation will follow service.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy; children, Kenneth Allen (Kathy) Murrow, Derek John (Paula) Murrow, Sherry Lynn (Terence) Thacker; siblings, Lucy Rowland, Keith (Pat Saunders) Murrow, Loren (Betty) Murrow; grandchildren, Randy (Chelsea) Murrow, Sunny (Matt) Helmers, Seth Murrow, Chelsea Murrow, Holly (Richard) Gorman, Sarah Thacker, Jessica (Timothy) Thacker-Schleinat; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan and Emma Murrow, Alexis, Hunter and Taelor Derrickson; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas Wallingford and Ruth (Knox) Murrow; brother, John (Betty) Murrow.
