A Celebration of Life Gathering for George "Clint" Kappelman Sr., 58, of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away August 21, 2023, will be held 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.

George was his name to some, but to most Clint was more common.

Clint was born to Eber and Rachel Kappelman on the 2nd of August 1965. Clint was a bit of a wild child through and through, living life on a different level in a different lane. He had many a different job, doing some sort of concrete work. The last 10 years or so he's literally turned trash into treasures and he was a Connoisseur of many things. He loved all things outside and was happiest in a creek bed playing around (even as an adult).

Clint was survived by his ex-wife Tommie Hall, children George Jr, David, and Whitney  (Nick) Audsley; two brothers Charlie (Luann) and Mike (Melanie) Kappelman, along with five grandsons and three granddaughters.
