Services for George D. Eaton, 85, who died Monday, November 6, 2006 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 10 at the First Baptist Church in Indianola of which he was a member. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Eaton was born in Queens City, MO, had served in the United States Navy and retired from Iowa Power in 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Randy Eaton of Indianola and Evelyn (Sonny) Burk of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Marvalee Newman of Adair; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9 at the First Baptist Church where family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be designated to his church.
