Genevieve was born and had lived in Warren County her entire life. She was very active in her community and Trinity United Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her children, Dr. B. Ben Hastie of Mesa, AZ, Cherry (Lee) Olson of New Virginia and Linda (Phil) Gray of Indianola; sister, Mary Catherine Pancratz of West Hills, CA; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Ivan Hastie.

Visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Memorial may be given to her church.
