Gay Lee Jones, 71, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Mercy Hospice, Johnston, Iowa.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Gay was born on February 22, 1948, in Dearborn, MI. to Steve and Jeanette (Walton) Drzyzga.  She graduated from North High School in Des Moines, IA.  She was united in marriage to Larry Jones on July 28, 1973 in Des Moines, IA.  To this union four daughters were born, Tina, Lisa, Carrie and Brandy.

Gay was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband Larry; daughters, Tina (Mike) Bush, Lisa Jones, Carrie Walker and Brandy Jones; five grandchildren, Crystal (Chris) Bates, Dillion (Peyton Kellis) Bush, Brooke Pottorff, Amari Henry, Aris Tyler; great-grandchildren, Camden Palmer, Harper Bates, Layla Kellis, Brinley Fry and Braya Fry.
