GAIL GRANT

Gail Grant, 81, of Indianola passed away on January 21, 2018.

A Memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2018, at the Indianola Christian Union Church.  Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, January 27 at the Lakes Pond Cemetery in Waterford, CT.

Gail was born on January 2, 1937 in Norwich, CT. She was an only child born to Stephen and Beatrice (Ashworth) Curran.

Gail was married to George Grant on June 25, 1959. To this union two children were born: Stephanie and Edward.

Gail was a homemaker and made a priority of caring for her family.  She loved to read, especially Christian novels.  She was a woman of deep faith and loved reading and studying the Bible.  She was an active member of every church she belonged to and did everything from teaching Sunday School to being the Church Secretary.

She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her smile, and her love for her Savior Jesus Christ.  Outside of her Savior and her family, her two great loves were Roy Rogers and the New York Yankees.

Gail will be dearly missed by her children: Stephanie (Russell) Anderson of Des Moines, IA, and Edward (Jill) of Indianola, IA; grandchild: Stephen Grant, currently a Student at Central Christian College of the Bible; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Grant, and her parents Stephen and Beatrice Curran.

Memorials may be given to the family in her name.
