Services for  Freda A. Duckworth, 91, who died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Village Health Center in Indianola will be held 1 p.m., Friday, May 29 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present from 11 a.m. until time of services for visitation.  There will be a luncheon following services at the Regular Baptist Church in Indianola followed by burial in the Chariton Cemetery.

Freda was born in Davis County, Iowa; married Verlyn Duckworth on June 26, 1961; and worked in the bonds department of a bank in Des Moines.  She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Regular Baptist Church.

She is survived by her niece, Linda Trogdon; great niece, Brenda Walte; great nephews, Kevin Kelly and Jeff Voyce; and sister-in-law, Jean Halferty.  She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, and one brother.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
