Services for Fred L. Weeks, 98, who passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at The Indianola Good Samaritan Center, will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 13 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. He is survived by his children, Keith (Kimberlie) Weeks of Pharr, TX, Marilyn (Tom) Hutchison and Dean (Paula) Weeks of rural Indianola; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Donald "Jake" Weeks; sisters, Lucy (Darrow) Condon, Mary Hatcher and Lavena Waldrup. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; grandson, Chip Weeks; one brother and three sisters . Visitation will be held 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 12 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
