Frank Leon Marcum, 59, of Indianola, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at home.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 6567 Bloomfield Road Des Moines, IA 50320..

Frank Leon Marcum was born on February 1, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa to Frank Marcum and Sandra Kay Collins.  He worked for Wyllie Eye Care, Target Optical before retiring.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, gambling, camping and his dogs.

Frank is survived by his father, Frank "Hezy" Marcum; siblings, Regina (Darrell) Sarmento, Gary Marcum, Melissa (Keith) Muir, Rodney Shiffer; half-sisters, Laura Marcum, Teresa Marcum; companion David Abendroth; his dog's, Gracie, Sassy and Goober and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Foster.

Memorials in memory of Frank may be given to the Animal Rescue League.
