Frank was born in Amarillo, TX and served in the United State Marines from 1947 – 1967 receiving the Purple Heart in Korea. He was honorably discharged and went to work for New Holland as a photographer. He then worked for Case in Indianola then as a photographer at Ft Leavenworth in Ft Leavenworth, KS. He retired and returned to Indianola in 1998.
He is survived by his wife Madeleine; sons, Frank (Cathy) Hotman II of Newton and Michael (Angie) Hotman of Ackworth; grandson, Cody Hotman; brother, James Briley of Amarillo, TX. He was preceded in death by a son Steven Hotman and his parents.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 4, from 4 – 8 p.m. with family present from 6 – 8 p.m. to greet friends at Overton Funeral Home. Masonic services will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Online condolences may be sent at www.overtonfunerals.com.
