Private family services for Forrest Edward Burgin, 86, who passed away Monday, January 4, 2021, will be held Friday, January 8, 2021.  Friends may join the family on his obituary page of Overton Funeral Home's website beginning at 12 p.m.  Public graveside services will be at 3 p.m., Friday in the Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls, IA.

Survivors include his wife, Bette Burgin; children, Craig (Tammy) Burgin, Debbie (Otis Konrad) Blair, Chuck (Kari) Burgin, Jay (Cindy) Burgin, Patty Burgin-Eisele, James "Buzz" (Tina) Burgin; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Grace Snyder; brothers, Wayne, Richard and Walter Burgin; and sisters, Jean Cronk, Tootsie Greimann, Irene Abernathy; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Josephine Blair.

Public visitation will be held prior to services from 10 a.m. to Noon, Friday at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Pleasant Hill Free Church, 4555 Park Ridge Ave., Pleasant Hill, IA 50327.
