He is survived by his son, Floyd K. Taber of Villisca; daughters, Marcia Taber and Renee (Rick) Nickelson of Indianola, and Sharon (Andy) Conner of Cumming; brothers, Bob Kirkpatrick of Pleasant Hill and Pete Taber Jr. of Des Moines; sisters, Helen Osborn of Altoona and Phyllis Ferris of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; special friend, Raetta Kopaska and adopted dog, Emma Valentine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Augusta and Pete Taber; wife, Caroll; and brothers, Kenneth Kirkpatrick and Harold Taber.
