FAITH O. RUBLE Indianola Services for Faith O. Ruble, 94, who passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at Westview Care Center in Indianola, will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 11 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Faith Oneta Duncan was born at her parents' home in rural Lacona, on July 9, 1917. She was raised on the family farm, and rode her pony to the liberty center school. Faith was united in marriage to Clarence Ruble on May 11, 1935. They were longtime members of the Indianola First Baptist Church. In addition to caring for her family, she was active in Sweet Adelines, and bowling. She was a bookkeeper for the family implement and auto dealership, and worked for a time at Younkers. She enjoyed her family, painting, dancing, and volunteering at the Veterans home in Knoxville. For many years, she enjoyed spending winters in Mesa, AZ. Faith is survived by her sons, Bob (Georgia) Ruble of Benson, AZ, Gary (Dixie) Ruble and Lee (Cheri) Ruble of Indianola; grandchildren, Kent and Scott Ruble, Katherine Kim, Matthew Ruble, Christy Ruble, Julie Daugherty, Bob Ruble, Kimber Walsted, Melanie Buchanan; fifteen great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ruble in 1972, by her parents, Sylvia Byers Duncan and Charles Duncan, her Sisters, Maude Lester, Coleen Wicket, Velma Snider and her Brothers, Cleo Duncan, Don Duncan, Glee Duncan and Step-father, John Musselman. She was also preceded in death by her half sisters, Doreen and Joy, her half brothers, Guy and Otto, and her step sister Florence and step brothers Johnnie and Millard Musselman. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 at Overton Funeral Home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Indianola.
