Services for Evelyn Curtis, 90, who went home to be with Our Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2010, will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 12 at the Indianola Regular Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will follow in the Liberty Center Cemetery.

Evelyn was born June 6, 1919 in Lucas County to George and Lillian Marker and married Dwaine Curtis October 15, 1937.

Survivors include her son, Dwaine Curtis, Jr.; daughter, Janet (John) Miller; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a sister, Ferne (Gaylord) Parrish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwaine Curtis; sisters, Carlene Hlad and Doris Lohner; and brother, Kermit Marker.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 11 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. to greet friends. Memorials may be given to her church.
