Services for Ethel Lucile Morgan, 96, of Indianola, Iowa, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026 will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 16 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Ethel is survived by her step-children, Gail Woods, James Morgan and Peggy Northcutt; 7 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; loving friend, Linda Ashburn. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord Morgan; parents, Jacob and Gladys Higgins; siblings, Opal McLeod, Jacob Higgins, Gladys Wohglemuth, Verle Higgins and Twyla Armstrong;

Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 15 at Overton Funeral Home. Memorials in memory of Ethel can be made to the Ackworth Friends Church or the Warren County Historical Society.
