Enola Clark Disbrow Indianola Enola Clark Disbrow, age 93, passed away at The Village Wesley Life Community in Indianola, Saturday, December 3, 2011. She was born June 9, 1918 in Mead, Nebraska, the daughter of R.C. and Neola Johnson. Enola graduated Mead High School in 1934, and earned her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Music, from the University of Nebraska in 1940. She taught school 27 years in Nebraska, Missouri, and Iowa. Music was her lifelong avocation and inspiration; singing, playing piano, and directing the Cherub Choir at Indianola First United Methodist Church, where she was a member. In 1942, she married Dr. Forrest R. Clark. To this union were born four children. Enola was preceded in death by husband and daughter, Nancy Kay Butcher (Mark). She is survived by her sister, Maxine Holm of Omaha, Nebraska, daughters Karen Warner (Tim) of Augusta, Kansas, and Connie Walters of Des Moines, son Keith Clark (Beth) of Saint Charles, Iowa, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Pastor Kay Hooper and Enola's family will host a Celebration of Life at The Village in Indianola, 1203 North "E" St, Saturday, December 10th at 3:00 pm.
