Elsie was born October 31, 1918 in Huxley. The daughter of John and Eva Olson, she married Gerrish Monroe Severson on May 15, 1937 in Slater.

Elsie is survived by her son, Gary (Linda) Severson of Bloomington, IL, two grandsons, David (Shelly) Anderson and Steven Anderson, both of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, two daughters and one sister.

Elsie was a devoted wife and mother and she will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
