ELOISE KATHERINE HEIDKROSS
Sheffield
Eloise Katherine Heidkross was born on July 5th, 1919, to William and Katherine Stading of Wishek, ND. She went home to meet her Lord and Savior on February 6, 2016, at Muse Norris Inpatient Center in Mason City, Iowa.
Eloise came to Sheffield, IA, to teach at the country school because of encouragement from the man who would become her beloved husband of 62 years, Lester Heidkross, whom she married on May 30, 1942. They were blessed with two children, Sandy and Brenda.
She will be forever remembered by her family, church, and community for her simple joy, wonderful smile, and her love of laughter. She was a devout member of the First Grace Baptist Church and a flatout cutie pie to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Katherine Stading, sisters, cousins, and her loving husband Lester Heidkross. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Heidkross, Sandy (Denny) Cloe; grandsons, Nathan (Kathryn) Cloe, Zachary (Chelsey) Cloe; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Marshall, Caroline and Henry Cloe.
For those of you who knew Lester, can't you just hear him say "Hello Sweetheart what took you so long?" We are forever grateful for two such amazing role models.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2016 at the First Grace Baptist Church in Sheffield with Reverend Ken Livingston presiding.
