Ellisene Ann Kuchan, 98, of Indianola, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at Windsor Manor in Indianola, IA.  Private family services will be held and inurnment of cremains will be in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Ellisene Ann Graves was born on September 21, 1924, the daughter of Ellis and Anna (Ansley) Graves in Chariton, Iowa.  She attended and graduated from Chariton High School.  In 1946, she was united in marriage to Charles Edward Kuchan.  They were blessed with two daughters, Shari and Gay.

Ellisene was a homemaker, she was an excellent cook, enjoyed entertaining, attending to her home, but most of all spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren especially during the holidays.  She was very active in her church, First United Methodist Church.  She loved the Lord and you were never in her home without hymns being played.

Ellisene is survived by her daughters, Shari (John) Cercone and Gay (Warren) Hunsberger; 10 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Lou (Dennis) Horner.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kuchan; parents, Ellis and Anna (Ansley) Graves; siblings, Vernon Graves, Marlene Darby, and Calvin Graves.
