Funeral services for Eleanor F. Murray, 73, who died Wednesday, February 9, 2005, will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 12, at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola of which she was a member. Cremation will follow the services and burial of cremains will be in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date.

Born in Spring Hill, Eleanor had lived most of her life in the Indianola area. She was office manager for Master Builders of Iowa in Des Moines for 30 years, retiring in 1996.

She is survived by her children, John Michael Sutherland of Clarinda, Larry Phillip (Brenda) Sutherland of West Des Moines, Lynn M. (Bob) Davidson of park Rapids, MN; step-children, Robert, Steven and James Murray and Michelle Rhode; brothers, Richard (Gilda) Borchert of West Des Moines, and Wendall (Nancy) Borchert of Boulder, CO; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell Murray; son, Donald Allen Sutherland; and sister, Norma Dyer.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to her church.
