Eileen was the third of four children of the Reverend C.C. (Charles) and Alma (Loomis) Donaghue. After living in Tryon and Hennessey, Oklahoma, the family moved to Milo, Iowa in 1932, where her father was the minister of the Milo Christian Union Church.
Eileen graduated from Milo High School in 1936. Eileen and William Oldaker of Milo were married on December 9, 1936. To this marriage three children were born: Charles, Richard and Beverly. Bill and Eileen lived their married life in the Milo area.
Eileen joined the Christian Union Church in Tryon, Oklahoma when she was 9 years old and moved that membership to the Milo Christian Union Church, where it remained the rest of her life. Eileen joined the Eastern Star in 1945 and served in various offices. She was Worthy Matron in 1950.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her son, Charles; her parents; her brother, Darrel Wayne Donaghue; and her sisters, Nellie Mae (Loren) Derrough and Chloriene (Robert) Lile.
Eileen is survived by her son, Richard (Sandy) Oldaker of Milo; her daughter, Beverly (Marvin) Judkins of Centerville, Iowa; grandsons, Robert (Shannon) Judkins of Marshalltown and David Oldaker of Milo; granddaughters, Sherri (J.B.) Williams of Cabot, Arkansas, Cathy (Scott) Dorsey of Milo and Becky (Mike) Schultz of Indianola. Ten great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Shoemaker; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends also survive.
Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 3, at the Milo Christian Union Church where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Milo Public Library or the Milo Christian Union Church.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 4 at the Milo Christian Union Church with interment at the Plainville (Goode's Chapel) Cemetery.
