Eileen was born in Albion, NE. During WWII she worked for an Ammunitions plant in Grand Island, NE. She moved to Indianola in 1959 where she was a homemaker and member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. The family would like to thank Dr. Heddinger and his nurse Amy for the wonderful care.

Surviving are her children, John "Jack" (Carol) Crawford of Indianola, Larry (Nita) Crawford of Temple, TX, Jim (Margaret) Crawford of McCall, ID, Debbie (Richard) Graham of Indianola and Connie (Steven) Turner of Redfield, IA; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence Klassen, Jr. of Fullerton, NE, and Raymond Klassen and Duane Klassen both of St. Edward, NE; sister, Delores Hodges of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton; and brother, Eugene Klassen.

Visitation will be held 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where the family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening. Memorials may be given to St. Thomas Aquanis Church, John Stoddard Cancer Center or Hospice of Central Iowa, Knoxville.
