Services for Edwin E. Stauffer, 69, who died Monday, January 25, 2010 at home will be held 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 28 at Farmer's Chapel United Methodist Church rural Indianola with cremation following services.

Mr. Stauffer was born in Ft. Dodge, Iowa and had served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was married December 14, 1974 to his wife, Patricia and together they have seven children. He retired from Pittsburg Des Moines Steel after 31 years. He was a wonderful husband, dad and a great grandpa.

Surviving are his wife, Pat; children, Terry Clements of Indianola, Tony (Jann) Stauffer of Nebraska, Linda (Henry) Wyman and Allan Dennie both of Minnesota, Ted Stauffer of Colorado, Taunya (Dave) Cunningham of Indianola; mother, Ruby Stauffer of Oelwein; brother Rollo Stauffer of Des Moines; sister Shirley Mendez of Oelwein; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Stauffer; son, Todd Stauffer; brother, Dennis Stauffer; and one great grandchild, Gretta Wyman.

Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, at Farmer's Chapel United Methodist Church with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. to greet friends.
