Graveside services for Edward "Ed" McDole, 79, who died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., Saturday prior to services Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.

Mr. McDole was born in New Virginia.  He was a sheet metal worker and a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Delma; children, Sheryl McDole of Carlisle and Brian McDole of Indianola; brothers, Lloyd McDole of Marion, Gayland McDole of New Virginia, and Darrell McDole of Earlham; sisters, Dorothy Hallam of East Moline, IL and Janice Long of Osceola.  He was preceded in death by his son Kenneth McDole.
