Services for Edward L. "Roy" Cooley, 79, who passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at home, will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2022, at Grace Evangelical Free Church in Indianola with visitation to be held prior to services from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Burial will follow services in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Roy is survived by his wife Grace Cooley; daughter, Donna Jones; son, Jamie (Molly) Schoop; step-daughter, Chelsea (Eric) Sales; grandchildren, Brad (Molly) Nelson, Greg (Amy) Cooley, Corey (Dejae) Cooley, Stephen (Jamie Casner) Jones, Ashley Jones, Grant McNeeley, Donna McNeeley, Amanda Schoop and Edward (Eddie) Schoop and step-granddaughter, Lilianne Sales; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Beverly (Ray) Johnson, Penni (LB) Cooley and Larry Cooley.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Sharon Cooley; daughter, Deborah Jenkins; parents, Edward and Anna Cooley; second wife Kathy Cooley; siblings, JoAnne Blanchard and Wayne Cooley and one granddaughter, July McNeeley and his loving companion Fluffy.

Memorials may be given in his name to the Indianola American Legion Post # 165.
