Born in Clarke County, Iowa, Edna had lived in Indianola since Aug. of 1998. She previously had lived in Milo from 1969 – 1998, and also the Medora Farming Community. She was a farm homemaker, and a housekeeper at Simpson College from 1964 until the mid 1970's. She enjoyed crafting and loved to dance in the Clarke, Lucas and Warren county areas.

She is survived by her children, Mary Olander of Des Moines and Steven (Pat) Coffman of Diamond Bar, CA; sister, Pat Robinson of Des Moines; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard; daughter, Linda Hall; granddaughter, Rhonda Hall; sisters, Maxine Henrich, Charlene Leggin, Irene Solem and Dorothy Snuggs; son-in-law, Paul Olander.

Visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, at Overton Funeral Home where the family will be present to greet friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be designed to Bethel Chapel Church or Hospice of Central Iowa, Knoxville.
