Funeral services for Earl H. Brennan, Jr., 58 who went to be with the Lord, Monday, October 22, 2007 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 26 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola, of which he was a member. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Earl was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to Earl and Edna Viola Brennan. He was a retired automotive technician for Stivers Lincoln Mercury in Des Moines.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Joyce (Walk) Brennan; three children, Christine (Ron) Cooney of Indianola, Brent (Daniella) Brennan of San Mateo, CA, and Blake (Markie) Brennan of Indianola; a sister, JoAnne (Stanley) McAninch of Indianola; six grandchildren, Shannon, Lindsey and Hannah Cooney, Marinna Brennan, Kadden Manriques and Kiefer Brennan.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 25 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church building fund.
