Services for Dwight Floyd Freeman, 88, of Indianola, who passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 in Des Moines, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O. F. Cemetery.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Marcie; children, Michael Freeman, Tom (Sue) Hess and Tami (Lamont) Jones; grandchildren, Andrew Hess, Megan Hess, Jackson Hess and Jeremiah Jones; brother, Don (Linda) Freeman and Austin (Sheila) Freeman; sister-in-law, Michele (Dennis) Walker; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dorothy (Wicker) Freeman; daughter, Mollie Alcorn; sister, Juanita (Robert) Dykstra; sister-in-law Barbara Freeman.

Visitation will be held prior to services from 10 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home.  Memorials in memory of Dwight can be given in his memory to Taylor House Hospice, Friends of Warren County Conservation or to The Warren County Historical Society of which Dwight's father was one of the founding members.
