Prayer services for Duane L. Nielsen, 62, who died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at home, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. A visitation will be held 9 to 11a.m. on Saturday prior to services. His wish was to be cremated and burial of cremains to take place at a later date. Duane is survived by his wife Kristine; sons, Christiaan (Kim) Nielsen of Ankeny and Michael Plumlee of Rochester, MN; brother, Gary Nielsen and three grandchildren, Kellen Nielsen, Donovan and Callan Plumlee. Memorials may be given to Dollar for Dollar Indianola Community Youth Foundation.
