Born on a farm in Warren County, Iowa, Doyle graduated from Spring Hill High School and farmed there until the late 1980's. He also worked as a heavy equipment operator for Moretrench until retiring to Mystic in 1998.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; children, Darlene (Sam) Graham of Des Moines, Deb (Chuck Tyler) Johnson and Leslie (Annette) Johnson all of Indianola and Brenda Johnson of Ft Worth, TX; and grandchildren, Joseph Johnson and Jamie Johnson.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to Memorial Services on Friday. Memorials may be given to the family in his name.
