DOUGLAS MICHAEL RAYMOND

Douglas Michael Raymond, 63, of Indianola, IA, was born September 30, 1955 and passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 24, 2019. A private celebration of life with immediate family will be held on Tuesday, August 27.

Doug was an adventurer, he loved his family and was always present in the moment, teaching and joking. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar, caring for his dog "Buddy" and boating. He also had a strong community and neighborly spirit, always helping a friend in need.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammi (John) Harrington; granddaughters, Hanah and Cassady; brothers, Steve Raymond and Travis Raymond; nieces, Laurie (Ryan) DeNoble, Kristi Raymond and  Tawnya Banda; nephews, Bobby Freeman, Chad (Angie) Raymond and Charlie Raymond; as well as several great nieces and nephews and more friends than anyone can count. He is preceded in death by his mother Lillian Moore, grandparents Norma and Moody Greenfield and brother Charlie Raymond.
