A Celebration of Life Gathering for Douglas Brian Hines, 64, of Indianola, IA, who passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines, will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends.

Douglas Brian Hines was born November 18th 1956 the youngest of 3 to Bud and Marjorie Hines. He grew up at the roller rink. He enjoyed playing golf, spending time with family and friends, and watching sports. Go Cubs Go!

He is survived by his best friend, Quincy; daughters, Danni Marie Wiggins, Sadie (Austin) Hines; grandchildren, Cameron, Kaileb, Chaeli; great-grandchild, Dahlia; sibling, Terry (Stan) Sherwood; and many nieces, nephews and other family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Marjorie Hines; brother, Craig Hines.
