Graveside services for Dorothy E. Dougherty, 90, who died Monday, October 4, 2010 will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 6 at the Booneville Cemetery, Booneville, IA.

Mrs. Dougherty was born in Kansas City, MO and lived on a farm south of Indianola for 47 years.  She was a homemaker, loved to flea market, and crochet.

Survivors are daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Jones, Mary (Royden) Miller, Tammy (Vernon) Braness; sons, Robert Dougherty Jr. and Charlie Dougherty; seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nine step-great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dougherty Sr.; parents, William and Florence Cassidy; brother, John and Ervin Cassidy; and sister, Mabel Dougherty.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 5 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. to greet friends.  Memorials may be given to the Kidney Foundation or American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be sent at www.overtonfunerals.com
