Services for Doris Lash, 90, who passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Vintage Hills in Indianola, will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 17 at the St. Mary Hall, St. Mary, IA.  Visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Cremation will follow services with a private burial of cremains to be held at a later date in the Wallace Cemetery, Wick, IA.

Doris was born near Ellston, IA on September 10, 1926 to Vern and Vera Creveling. She was married to Dale Lash in 1946 and lived in Warren County until her death.  To this union were born four children, Sheila, Connie, Regi and Tish.

Doris enjoyed a career in teaching for 31 years, retiring in 1993.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, son, grandson and four brothers. Mourning her death are her children, Sheila (Greg) Hraha, Connie (Mike) Cox and Tish (Tom) O'Mara; sister, Vivian Hawk; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
