Doris Mae Hobbs of Indianola, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at home.  No services are planned at this time.

Doris was born the daughter of Jack and Geneiveive (Newton) McKuhan on September 8, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa.  She was united in marriage to LeRoy Hobbs on December 4, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa.  To this union two sons were born, LeRoy and Steve.

Doris was a stay-at-home mother and wife.   She loved fishing and the Denver Broncos.

She is survived by her husband LeRoy Hobbs and her son Steve Hobbs; grandchildren, Jeff Hobbs and granddaughter, Stevi Hobbs and a sister, Shirley Sailer.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a son LeRoy Hobbs Jr.
