Doris Arleen "Hankins" Brammer of Indianola, IA, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Westview Care Center in Indianola. Doris was born on October 11, 1938 to Charles Beryl and Minnie Mae Belle "Bloom" Hankins in Riverton, IA. She was Married to Dorsey Gene Brammer on January 29, 1956 in Council Bluffs, IA and they were blessed with a son Leo David Brammer.

Doris lived most of her life as a homemaker while her husband worked to provide for the family. She grew up living mostly between California and Iowa. Growing up, her parents along with her siblings, worked as migrant farmers. Doris enjoyed square dancing and gardening. Her greatest love was for her family, mostly her grandchildren.

Doris will be missed by her son, Leo and wife Becky Brammer of Milo; and grandchildren, Tylor, Dustin, Zachary, McKenzie and Isabella. Also surviving are her two sisters, Nora Mae Stinnett and Mary Lou Findley, both of California; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins, all over this great nation. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and infant daughter, Toni Anette; and siblings, Leo, Harold, Bessie, Maxine, Doyle, Bill, Bobby, Jackie and Kenneth.
