Private family services for Donna Jean Miller, 83, who passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 in Des Moines, will be held Friday, January 22, 2021.  Friends may join the family on our Livestream beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Donna's obituary page of Overton Funeral Home's website.  Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.

Donna loved to bowl and work in the garden.  She worked as a buyer and salesperson for T.R. Bell in Moorestown, NJ, and as an Administrative Assistant for CompCom in Collingswood, NJ.  She was active in Redeemer Lutheran Church in Indianola and the Lioness Club.

Survivors include her children, Phillip (Sue) Miller, Elizabeth Rahn and Andrew Miller; grandchildren, Aaron and Alex Miller, Kyle (Maria) Rahn, Alicia Rahn, Jen Gibbons, and Ryan (Jen) Gibbons; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Sam, Evelyn, Cristian, and Lilianna.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Miller; parents, Elvin and Lucille Nissen; sisters, Mary, Barbara, Shirley and Hazel.

Public visitation will be held 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Overton Funeral Home where family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m.  Memorials may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church or The Good Shepherd Fund at The Village in Indianola.
