DONNA LEE LAVIN

Donna Lee Lavin, 83, was born March 14, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Marvin and Esther (Fleicher) Bannerman and lived in Michigan, New York, California, Missouri, and Iowa. She worked for 25 years at Good Samaritan Center in Indianola as a Nursing Assistant. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, spending time with her grandkids and her great-grandkids.

Donna passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Kenneth) Hoekman of Moravia, Susan Mitchell of Norwalk, Joseph Bauman of Norwalk, Edward (Paula) Bauman of Sterling, Virginia,  Pa tricia Birnbaumer of Hemet California, a brother Marvin Bannerman (Nancy) Nevada, and a sister Beverly Groves of Corydon.11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Bonnie, Mary Lou, Shirley, a niece Robin, and nephew Dennis.
