Donna Lee Hanysh, 59, of New Virginia, Iowa, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 at home.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.

Donna was born on September 16, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Donald and Patricia (Calvert) Burgett.  She graduated from Interstate 35 High School in the class of 1984.  She worked as a CNA for different nursing home and also had worked at the casino as a dealer.  Donna enjoyed working with plastic canvas crafts, WWE, reading, her cats and dogs, play computer games especially High Roller and Yahtzee.  Horses and rodeo where a special passion.

She was united in marriage to Ray Hanysh on September 22, 2017.

Donna is survived by her husband Ray Hanysh; son, Chris Burgett; grandchildren, Alex and Andrew Butterfield; brother, Donald Burgett; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Patricia Burgett and sister, Tammy Golden.
