A Celebration of Life Service for Donald Wilson Wood, 84, of Indianola, who passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with inurnment of cremains to follow services in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Open casket visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the funeral home with cremation following the visitation.

Don is survived by his wife Nancy Joyce Wood; children, Randy (Karen) Wood, Kevin (Roxanne) Wood, Deann Wood and Chad (Julie) Wood; grandchildren, Brooks Wood, Mitchell (Tiffany) Wood, Sarah Wood, Jenelle (Austin) Barnes, Jennifer Wood, Kane Dennis, Kara Keeran, Paige Wood and Allison Wood; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Elijah, Charlotte, Karson, Sawyer and Cameron; siblings, Roy (Sherry) Wood, Phil (Teresa) Wood, Mary Kay Wood; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Wood.  He is also survived by brothers-in-law Willard Watts and John (Shirley) Vernon Watts and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Wood; parents, Samuel Wilson and Margaret Alice (Terry) Wood and brother, Jim Wood.

Memorials in memory of Don may be given to the Indianola Fireman's Memorial.
